Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use Starplates to search for, enquire about or purchase a private registration. A registration remains subject to availability and DVLA eligibility until your order and payment are confirmed.
Prices and payment
The total payable is shown before payment and includes the stated registration price, VAT and applicable DVLA fee. Optional services are identified separately. Payment must clear before fulfilment begins.
Registration rights and assignment
A purchase concerns the right to assign the registration; physical number plates are not included unless expressly stated. You must not display the registration until the DVLA confirms assignment. A registration cannot make a vehicle appear newer than it is.
Availability and customer details
You must provide accurate nominee, contact and vehicle information. If a registration becomes unavailable before completion, we will contact you about the available options. Transfer timing depends on the DVLA and any documents required.
